Program Overview

Our Neuroscience MSc course will provide you with multidisciplinary training in a range of neuroscience topics, particularly those relevant to psychiatry, psychology and neurology. It seeks to equip graduates from a wide range of backgrounds for the next stage of their career, which may be either further full-time study in a neuroscience-related academic research environment, or employment in an academic, clinical or pharmaceutical organisation.

Course Content
Required modules

The course is divided into taught and research modules. Over the course of your study you will take modules totaling 180 credits.
- A1 Fundamental Neuroscience (30 credits)
- A2 Fundamental Neuroscience (30 credits)
- A3 Fundamental Neuroscience (30 credits)
Optional modules

In addition, students take 30 credits from a choice of optional modules that may typically include:
- Neurodegeneration Research (30 credits)
- Neuroimaging: Investigating Brain Function and Dysfunction (30 credits)
- Cognitive Neuroscience Research (30 credits)
- Neural Stem Cells & Nervous System Repair Research (30 credits)
- C Research Project module
The research component will allow students to gain training and experience in hypothesis-driven academic research. Students choosing a research project in the same subject area as their specialised module may graduate with MSc Neuroscience within that specialty.

Entry Requirement
Indian universities considered highly prestigious : Bachelor degree (Honours/Special) with a score of: 60% or 7.5 out of 10.
