Required modules

You are required to take:

• MedTech innovation, ideation, design, and research methodologies (30 credits)

• Foundations of entrepreneurship and management I: Entrepreneurial strategy and growth (15 credits)

• Foundations of entrepreneurship and management II: Entrepreneurial finance & marketing (15 credits)

• Entrepreneurial Leadership (15 credits)

• Medical Technology Design and Development Pathways from Idea to Impact (15 credits)

• Quality Management systems, Regulation, Intellectual Property Rights, Health Technology Assessment (15 credits)

• Project development (dissertation) (60 credits)

Standard requirements
A minimum High 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 65% or above.

If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).

Other requirements
Undergraduate degree with high 2.1 honours (i.e. overall average of at least 65% across all years of study) required with evidence of modules in at least two of the following: Statistics, Management, Life Sciences, Health, Natural Mathematical and Engineering Sciences.

In order to meet the academic entry requirements for this programme you should have a minimum high 2.1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 65% or above in the UK marking scheme, or equivalent. If you are still studying you should be achieving at least 65% or above in the UK marking scheme.

UK:
Full time: £15,675 per year (2022/23)

International:
Full time: £29,850 per year (2022/23)

These tuition fees may be subject to additional increases in subsequent years of study, in line with King’s terms and conditions.

Deposit
When you receive an offer for this course you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. The deposit will be credited towards your total fee payment.

• The UK deposit is £500.
• The INTERNATIONAL deposit is £2,000.
• If you receive an offer on or before 31 March, payment is due by 25 April 2022.
• If you receive an offer between 1 April and 30 June, payment is due within one month of receiving the offer.
• If you receive an offer between 1 July and 31 July, payment is due within two weeks of receiving the offer.
• If you receive an offer between 1 August and 21 August, payment is due within one week of receiving the offer.
• If you receive an offer from 22 August onwards, payment is due within three days of receiving the offer.
• If you are a current King’s student in receipt of the King's Living Bursary you are not required to pay a deposit to secure your place on the programme. Please note, this will not change the total fees payable for your chosen programme.

In addition to your tuition fees, you can also expect to pay for:
• books if you choose to buy your own copies
• library fees and fines
• personal photocopies
• printing course handouts
• society membership fees
• stationery
• travel costs for travel around London and between campuses
• graduation costs.
