Program Overview

Global Health intercalated BSc course equips medical students with the knowledge and skills to critically engage with global health issues. Students will benefit from exploring social, political, economic and anthropological perspectives on the main challenges faced in providing healthcare across the globe.

Course Content
Courses are divided into modules. You will normally take modules totalling 120 credits. This is a one-year course.

- Global Burden of Disease (15 credits)
- Research Methodology in Global Health (15 credits)
- International Development & Health (15 credits)
- Global Health in Local Practice (15 credits)
- Conflict & Health (15 credits)
- Health Systems & Policy (15 credits)
- Project in Global Health (30 credits)
Entry Requirement
Must be registered on as a student at your home university for the duration of your time at King's (i.e you cannot be on a leave of absence from your degree) and your university is transferring at least some of the credits earned at King's towards your degree.
Undergraduate students must be registered on a BA/BSc/LLB or equivalent undergraduate degree.
Undertaken a minimum of 1 year of university level study.
