Courses are divided into modules. Each year you will normally take modules totalling 120 credit and at CUHK you will normally take modules totalling 120 credits (30 CUHK units) in Year 3 and 108 credits (27 CUHK units) in Year 4.

Year 1

Required modules
 

• Criminal Law (30 credits)

• Elements of the Law of Contract (30 credits)

• European Law (30 credits)

• Public Law (30 credits)

• Legal Reasoning and Legal Services (non-credit bearing)

You are required to do the following modules:
 

• Law of Property (30 credits)

• Law of Tort (30 credits)

• Law of Trusts (30 credits)

Year 3

Required modules

You are required to do the following modules

Year 3 is spent at CUHK enrolled on the Juris Doctor. You will be registered as a postgraduate student and are required to take 120 credits (30 CUHK units) from modules at CUHK.
Students are only able to progress to study at CUHK if they have obtained a 2:1 in years 1 and 2.

You are required to do the following modules

Year 4 is spent at CUHK enrolled on the Juris Doctor. You are required to take 108 credits (27 CUHK units) from modules at CUHK.

Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels.

Notes: If you are taking linear A-levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all Science subjects. This is with the exception of private candidates who are unable to take the practical component.

We do not consider the EPQ at any point of the assessment process.
