Program Overview

This programme adds a further, optional year’s professional internship to the King’s Chemistry BSc.
To take the Year’s Professional Placement, students need to meet and maintain a grade threshold of typically around a 2.1 level; and to be successful in securing a year’s professional internship offered by major companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and also in finance, banking, management and law, and smaller organisations such as biotech companies.
We help prepare you for these competitive year-long placements by providing support from King’s Career Services, a Chemistry academic Year with Professional Placement lead and a dedicated Faculty Placement
Coordinator.

Entry Requirement
Must be registered on as a student at your home university for the duration of your time at King's (i.e you cannot be on a leave of absence from your degree) and your university is transferring at least some of the credits earned at King's towards your degree.
Undergraduate students must be registered on a BA/BSc/LLB or equivalent undergraduate degree.
Undertaken a minimum of 1 year of university level study.
