Our innovative and flexible Liberal Arts BA enables you to create a degree programme that suits your own interests. Select from a wide range of options across the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and gain a wide-ranging qualification that will enhance your employability and provide an ideal platform for work or postgraduate study. You will study a combination of required and optional modules, and choose a subject in which you will major. You will also have the opportunity to study a language, spend time abroad, and undertake an internship. Major subject options include Classical & Hellenic Studies, Comparative Literature, Digital Media & Culture, English, Film Studies, Geography, History, International Development, Modern Languages (French, German, Spanish or Portuguese), Music, Philosophy, Politics, and Theology & Religious Studies.

Course Content
Structure

Courses are divided into modules. Each year you will normally take modules totalling 120 credits.

This is a three-year degree course in which you will take a combination of required and optional modules to total 360 credits.

Year 1

Required modules

You are required to take the following modules:
- Lives of London (15 credits)
- Writing Liberal Arts (15 credits)
- A language module, eg in Mandarin, from the Modern Language Centre (15 credits)
Year 2

Required modules

You are required to take the following module:
- Space, Power, Agency (15 credits)
Year 3

Required modules

You are required to take the following module:
- Translation Across Disciplines (15 credits)
Entry Requirement
Must be registered on as a student at your home university for the duration of your time at King's (i.e you cannot be on a leave of absence from your degree) and your university is transferring at least some of the credits earned at King's towards your degree.
Undergraduate students must be registered on a BA/BSc/LLB or equivalent undergraduate degree.
Undertaken a minimum of 1 year of university level study.
