The program focuses on understanding the relationship between the fundamental structure and properties (mechanical, electrical, optical and magnetic) of matter Students will learn to manipulate existing materials and develop new and improved ones, with access to cutting edge equipment and tools Student will gain a strong base of theoretical principles, and cover the widest possible range of materials through a core series of modules Students can choose specialization in the area they are most interested in, such as materials processing, structural materials and electrical materials in the third year Upon successful gradaution, students can pursue a career in a wide variety of sectors from chemicals manufacturing and pharmaceuticals to technical management and scientific research and development (R&D) Students will study subjects such as Materials Chemistry and Biology, Materials Engineering, Materials Physics, Mathematics and Computing etc.
