Overview

About

Hult Ashridge Executive Education (also known as the Ashridge Programme or Ashridge) is a Hult International Business School executive education programme based in the Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire. Bonar Law founded the college in Ashridge House in 1921. It was formed in 1929 as a "College of Citizenship" to assist the Conservative Party in developing its intellectual forces in battles with left-wing organisations like the Fabian Society. Later on, it evolved into a hybrid of a think tank and a training facility with Arthur Bryant serving as its educational adviser. The institution was briefly re-established after the war, then it was re-launched as a management training college in 1959.

It was previously known as Ashridge Business School. Ashridge Business School amalgamated with Hult International Business School in 2015. (an American business school with campuses in 7 cities around the world). Then it was renamed Hult Ashridge Executive Education as part of the merger. Its activities include open and customised executive education programmes, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, and diploma credentials, as well as organisational consulting and applied research. The school has representation in several countries throughout Europe and the world, including Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, North America and the Benelux countries.

Ashridge has six research centres, each of which conducts specific research and offers consultancy services and specialised programmes, including the Ashridge Centre for Business and Sustainability, the Ashridge Centre for Coaching, the Ashridge Leadership Centre, the Ashridge Strategic Management Centre, the Ashridge Centre for Research in Executive Development, and the Ashridge Centre for Action Research.

Ashridge has approximately 2,718 students enrolled at the university with a gender ratio of 62:38. It has 95 full-time academic staff and 100 associate faculty members. At the college, students receive individualised help for their academic work and daily life. Additionally, courses for personal development are offered as part of the MBA programme. This covers methods for looking for a job, creating a CV, presentation abilities and online career support. In addition, because it is a well-regarded sponsor with the UK Border Agency, the college also provides information on housing, moving to the UK, guidance on visas and the appropriate documentation to study in the UK.
