Modules

MA is comprised of:

• Core modules (90 credits)

• Elective modules (30 credits)

• Dissertation (60 credits).

UK
You should have a first or second-class honours degree in any subject. However, applications are also welcome from those with experience in the media, information or communication sectors. An equivalent qualification from an overseas university will be considered.

English language requirements

If you're a national of a majority English-speaking country, or have previously completed a university degree (or equivalent) in one, you will not need to prove your knowledge of English to apply for the course.

The government provides a list of recognised majority English-speaking countries.

Otherwise, to participate fully in the collaborative learning process in the School of Communication and Creativity, you must provide evidence that you meet the courses English language requirements.

This course requires the equivalent of an IELTS academic test with an overall score of 7.0 and a minimum of 6.5 in each subtest.

We will also accept an equivalent score in any of the tests listed under the English language requirements section

You must have completed the qualification no more than two years prior to the start of the course.

Fees in each subsequent year of study (where applicable) will be subject to an annual increase of two percent. We will confirm any change to the annual tuition fee to you in writing prior to you commencing each subsequent year of study (where applicable).
