This course is ideal if you are aiming for employment in the diplomatic service, journalism or international organisations such as the United Nations or the European Union. You might also be targeting non-governmental organisations (NGOs) including Amnesty International and Oxfam.

 

You may already be employed by such an organisation and seeking to develop your skills and knowledge.

• Full-time: 12 months

• Part-time: 24 months

Modules:

Full-time duration: 12 months

 

Part-time duration: 24 months (with an additional 3 months to submit dissertation if required)

• Core modules (45 credits)

• Optional modules (75 credits)

• Dissertation (60 credits)

  You should have a first or upper second class honours degree (or equivalent) in social sciences, humanities, or law. Relevant professional experience will also be considered as part of the application process.

 

English language requirements

 

If English is not your first language you will need the following qualification:

• IELTS: an overall score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 for each sub-test).
