Cardiff and Vale College is a further education college located in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, in the United Kingdom. The college was formed in September 2011 by the merger of Barry College and Coleg Glan Hafren. The Welsh Assembly Government encouraged colleges in Wales to work together in order to maximise benefits for students, which led to the merger. The college is one of the largest in Wales, with more than 30,000 students enrolled each year. The college offers a wide range of courses, including vocational qualifications, apprenticeships, higher education courses, and adult learning courses. The college has campuses located throughout Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
