The PGCE Further Education course prepares you for a career in the lifelong learning sector, equipping you with the appropriate skills and knowledge, as well as making you eligible to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS). They accommodate all subject specialisms through our PGCE, and deliver them alongside partner colleges which offers both flexibility and that you are being taught by the best subject experts. Generic skills are also covered, meaning that on completion you could work in a number of settings - from sixth form colleges through to prison education.
