The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is designed to help you improve your English language skills up to the level so that you can enter an undergraduate degree at Canterbury Christ Church University. It is not just a simple language improvement course: you will need to learn the kinds of language and skills which are necessary in university study, and in your subject area. You may also need to revise and expand the basic knowledge you need to study your subject in English.

Entry Requirement
At the point of registration onto the first year of a degree, we require you to have achieved:
- A minimum of two A Levels or
- A BTEC National Diploma or
- A combination of BTEC and A Level qualifications equivalent to two A Levels (such as a BTEC subsidiary certificate) and one A Level or
- A pass at T Level or
- An Access to Higher Education Diploma.
