A foundation year helps you develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when you don’t reach the entry requirements for your subject. During the foundation year, you will gain fundamental knowledge and skills needed to progress to Year 1 of the degree. Entry Requirement
At the point of registration onto the first year of a degree, we require you to have achieved:
- A minimum of two A Levels or
- A BTEC National Diploma or
- A combination of BTEC and A Level qualifications equivalent to two A Levels (such as a BTEC subsidiary certificate) and one A Level or
- A pass at T Level or
- An Access to Higher Education Diploma.
