Program Overview

A foundation year helps you develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when you don’t reach the entry requirements for your subject. If you're interested in studying the structure and function of the human body along with elements of sport and exercise physiology, then this is the course for you. Our degree provides a unique blend of fundamental biology integrated with aspects of sport and exercise science. You’ll study normal human form and function as well as the processes that occur during the development of disease.

Entry Requirement
At the point of registration onto the first year of a degree, we require you to have achieved:
- A minimum of two A Levels or
- A BTEC National Diploma or
- A combination of BTEC and A Level qualifications equivalent to two A Levels (such as a BTEC subsidiary certificate) and one A Level or
- A pass at T Level or
- An Access to Higher Education Diploma.
