Program Overview

Our course encompasses the study of the genetics, biochemistry and the molecular biology of organisms. You’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of our excellent industry links, interacting with biotech companies, and develop practical and employment-relevant skills in our state-of-the-art laboratories. The course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology for the purpose of meeting in part the academic and experience requirement for membership and for Chartered Biologist (CBiol) status.

Entry Requirement
At the point of registration onto the first year of a degree, we require you to have achieved:
- A minimum of two A Levels or
- A BTEC National Diploma or
- A combination of BTEC and A Level qualifications equivalent to two A Levels (such as a BTEC subsidiary certificate) and one A Level or
- A pass at T Level or
- An Access to Higher Education Diploma.
