Program Overview

The PhD/MPhil programme will provide a dedicated route for high calibre students who (may have a specific research aim in mind and) are ready to carry out independent research leading to postdoctoral status. Alternatively it would be appropriate for students who are seeking a high level qualification suitable for a career in research with transferable skills for graduate employment.

Course Content
The MPhil is available for full time (2 year) or part time (4 year) study on-campus or via distance learning from within the UK or internationally. The course requires the student to undertake a substantial piece of independent research at the cutting edge of ageing and dementia research.
Entry Requirement
Minimum 2:2/2nd Division/50-55%/6.0 GPA.
Students with a study gap of 3 years or more will be required to provide two letters of recommendation (i.e. One Academic Reference and one employer reference).
