Recreational exercisers and patients living with disease are turning to science too, using sport science techniques to better manage their health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and physical activity. This modern, hands-on, research-led one year intercalated degree will equip the medical student with a critical understanding of the science of human function, providing the skills and experience needed to develop innovative psychological and physiological interventions to promote sport performance, exercise and health.
