On a degree in Film Studies and English Literature, you will learn how to interpret and critically analyse film and literature, develop critical and analytical thinking and writing, and hone high level of transferrable skills, including in interpersonal communications, group work, creative problem solving, teamwork, presentation, and research.

Jobs and sectors directly related to this degree include scholarly writing and editing, PR, law, copywriting, journalism, new media, and secondary-school teaching, as well as education consultancy, advertising and marketing, and librarianship. Our students also embark on postgraduate study and training in Film Studies, English Literature and related disciplines, so as to train as researchers and lecturers in higher education.
