Standard entry requirements

Main

• 120 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent), Psychology and Science subjects are preferred.
• 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
• If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.

• UCAS Tariff Points from Access to HE Diplomas in a related subject are accepted.
• UCAS Tariff points from the Irish Leaving Certificate are accepted.
• UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Advanced Highers are accepted.
• UCAS Tariff points acquired from BTEC Level 3 Diplomas are accepted.
• UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Highers are accepted.
• The European Baccalaureate at a minimum overall grade of 70% is accepted.
• International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 26 points is accepted.
• HNC qualifications are accepted.
• HND qualifications are accepted.

Tuition fees for international students (2021/22)

International students starting 2021/22 (per year)
You can pay your tuition fees upfront, in full or in two instalments. We will also ask you for a deposit of £4,000 or a sponsorship letter. Details will be in your offer letter.

Careers

As a graduate chartered member of the British Psychological Society, you’ll be ready to undertake further training in clinical psychology – ultimately going on to improve the psychological well-being of clients.

You’re likely to work in the NHS, in settings such as hospitals, community mental health teams or child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). There are also options to work in private practice.
Psychologists have skills that are sought after in other industries too, including the ability to understand social behaviour and analyse data.

Whichever path interests you most, you can be sure that you’ll graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities that industry needs. We work with employers, and they help us review what we teach and how we teach it – offering hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships or placements.

Graduation doesn't need to be the end of your time with us.
