• Public Health Nutrition and Health Promotion 1 - FOD201
• Food Characterisation - FOD204
   

Year 3 Option Modules

In Term 1, you must study and pass three modules from the six modules below. You must choose FOD307 if you plan to choose FOD302 in Term 2. Do not select FOD307 if you plan to choose FOD308 and SPS408 in Term 2. 
 

Term 1

• Food Processing - FOD303
• Food and Behaviour - FOD304
• Clinical Nutrition 1 - FOD305
• Quality and Safety Management Systems - FOD306
• Professional Skills for Placement and Research - FOD307
   

In Term 2, you must choose either FOD302 or FOD308 and SPS408.
 

Term 2

• Placement - FOD302
• Placement - FOD308 and Lifestyle Management - SPS408
   

Year 4 Core Modules

You must study and pass SCN421 in Term 1 and SCN422 in Term 2

• Project Research Methods and Management - SCN421
• Honours Project - SCN422

Please note: All applicants must have a pass Maths - National 5 grade C or GCSE grade C/4.  National 5 Lifeskill Maths and Application of Maths NOT accepted in lieu of Maths.
 

If English is NOT your first language, you will need to show that you meet our English language requirements. This means you need a valid, recent, English language qualification.
 

Accepted English language qualifications include:

• IELTS - overall score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5

• TOEFL - overall score of 78 (individual elements: L-17, R-18, S-20, W-17)

• Cambridge FCE/CAE/CPE - overall score of 169 on Cambridge Grading Scale

• Skills for English (SQA/PSI) - B2 with Pass with Merit 

• International Baccalaureate - English B at S5 or H4, English A no specific grade required

• European Baccalaureate - English Language 1 at grade 6 or English Language 2 at grade 7

The fees for Undergraduate Bachelors Degree Programme is £14000 annually for tuition fees. The fee's prices may get higher for International Students.
