Curtin University is originally an Australian university. It opened its newest campus in Dubai in April 2017. The university is located in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC). The Australian Ambassador to the UAE officially launched the campus on 10th September 2017. The student population is 300 with approximately 100 staff members. Curtin University Dubai’s acceptance rate is fairly decent as students from over the world apply to the university. The university’s academic credentials are KHDA-certified and accepted by all public and commercial institutions in the Emirate of Dubai. The influential and well-regarded former Australian prime minister John Curtin is the source of the Curtin surname. Curtin, who is regarded as a great statesman, served in office from 1941 to 1945

In order to have a decent chance of being admitted to Curtin University Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
