Welcome to a Master’s degree that will help you to understand and manage different types of communication processes in the area of environmental and natural resource management.

The Environmental Communication and Management programme draws on an understanding of communication as the joint construction of meaning, through which not only knowledge, but also values, norms, experiences and practices are shared and negotiated. An understanding of communication as the core of social life is therefore crucial for understanding and facilitating social change – such as sustainability transformation processes.

Entry Requirement
Admission to the Master’s programme Environmental Communication and Management requires a first-cycle qualification comprising 180 credits and including specialised studies comprising 90 credits within a single subject (e.g. Biology or Economics) within one of the following disciplinary domains:
- Natural science
- Technology
- Social sciences. (e.g. sociology, psychology, economics, political science, human geography, media)
