Whitireia New Zealand is a tertiary education institution in New Zealand's Wellington district. Whitireia Community Polytechnic was founded in 1986, and in 2017 it became a subsidiary of the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology. (NZIST). Whitireia offers classes at five locations: Auckland, Petone, Porirua, and Wellington. The Porirua campus is the major campus of the Whitireia, located around 20 minutes from Wellington.
