To be accepted into this programme you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree with a major in Education, Psychology, Education and Psychology, or an approved teacher education degree, with an average grade of B or above for all coursework in the final year of their undergraduate programme

• To be accepted by the Associate Dean (Academic) of the Wellington Faculty of Education as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

For International Students: NZ $42,050 per year.

MEdPsych graduates might go on to gain qualifications as a teacher, study for a PhD, or work in educational or health agencies that need specialised educational psychology knowledge and skills. These might include early intervention services, mental health services, or NGOs that work with families.
