About

The Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a government-run higher education institution founded in New Zealand in 1975. The institution was renamed Hawke's Bay Polytechnic in 1987 after being established as the Hawke's Bay Community College. The institution's current name was adopted in the year 1996. It is accepted by both the New Zealand Tertiary Education Commission and the Ministry of Education.

 

EIT's main campus is situated in a Napier City neighbourhood in the Hawke's Bay area. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and amazing architecture, which gives the students a top-notch learning environment. Two additional campuses for the university are located in Auckland and Gisborne.
