BSc Architectural Science (Hons)

There are two main elements to the Architecture course – project work (design, drawing and model making) and the lecture programmes (historical and theoretical material). Project work is taught in the architecture design studios through a combination of lectures, individual tuition, field trips, group tutorials, large reviews and exhibitions.

The lecture programme can be grouped under three broad headings:

• Professional Studies

A combination of continuous assessment and end-of-trimester written examinations is used. In your final year, you’ll also submit a report of your design research project.

General Requirements

Standard XII

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE)

Intermediate Exam (some state boards)

Higher/Senior School Certificate/Examination (most state boards)

Average is calculated on best 5 recognised subjects

English Language Requirements

CBSE/AISSCE/CUSCE/ISC - English Language 80% OR IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent

IELTS

An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band on the Academic Version. 

TOEFL

A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section.

 

Non-EU fees for academic year 2022/23 are:

Most architectural graduates go into architectural practice or on to further academic study in architecture or related subjects.

Your skills are transferable, which enables you to work anywhere in the world. Some architects also work in other areas such as:
