Program Overview

Automation engineering involves the design, development and implementation of sensor and robotic systems. At its core is the combination of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering with computer technology, namely, mechatronics.

This multi-disciplinary course will equip you for a diverse range of modern technological roles. You’ll develop a range of skills in the design and implementation of automation solutions; from 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD, Solid-Modelling), sensor and instrumentation selection, and programming of robotics to the management of the resulting systems. 

  • HSC XII: CBSE, ICSE, Kolkata or Tamil Nadu boards with an overall average of 70% or above.
  • HSC XII: West Bengal board with an overall average of 58% or above.
  • HSC XII: Maharashtra or Gujarat boards with an overall average of 75% or above.
  • HSC XII: All other state boards with an overall average of 80%+ or above.

  • Successful completion of Standard XI with 55% OR successful completion of Standard XII 50% plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%.

  • Successful completion of 1 year of a Indian degree with average of 55% with relevant subjects at a recognised third-level or higher education institution in addition to completion of senior high school. This assessment will be on a case-by-case basis.
