Course Content
First and second years

Students take common modules in order to develop their skills and overall background in calculus, linear and abstract algebra, and other related subjects. Although most of the first and second year modules are compulsory, students are also able to choose a few approved modules in areas such as probability, statistics and theoretical physics (as well as Trinity Electives during the second year).

Third and fourth years

Students choose their own modules and thus specialise in the areas they find most interesting and appealing. There is a broad selection of modules in pure mathematics, theoretical physics, statistics and computer science (as well as Trinity Electives during the third year).
