Our faculty and courses represent a compelling range of theoretical, historical and critical approaches to literature across the historical sweep of English-language literatures in all genres from their very beginnings to today’s global spectrum of voices and expressive forms.  Study with prize-winning graduate faculty in American, British, Canadian, Postcolonial, Diasporic, and World Literatures. Study in depth the periods of Medieval and Renaissance, 18th-century and Romantics, Victorianism and Modernism, the 20th-century and the truly contemporary with an array of disciplinary theories that will energize and change how you read and think.

The cost of attending MA in English varies greatly based on the type of university attended and the degree pursued. International students pay higher fees than domestic students.
