About
The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university in British Columbia with campuses in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, and Hope. It was founded in 1974 as Fraser Valley College in response to the need for greater vocational training in the Fraser Valley region. It became a university college with degree-granting status in 1988. It quickly changed into the University College of the Fraser Valley, one of the biggest universities in Canada.
Over 100 programmes are available at the University of the Fraser Valley.
