The University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres is a public university located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The school was established on March 19, 1969 with the merger of the "Centre d'Études universitaires de Trois-Rivières" and "L'école normale d'État Maurice Duplessis”. The University of Quebec has two main campuses, Trois Rivières and Drummondville. Apart from these two main campuses, the university has eight centres such as Sorel-Tracy, Victoriaville, La Tuque, Joliette, and Longueuil.

 

The university offers programmes in various fields of study including arts, science, and engineering. It includes 300+ degree and certificate programmes, from undergraduate to doctorate level, and over 90 online programmes. The University Library

The University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres Library is among the largest and most important libraries in the province of Quebec. The library holds over 1 million volumes, including books, journals, newspapers, dissertations, periodicals, and other materials. In addition to its collection of books on CD-ROMs, microfilm and microfiche readers are available on each floor for browsing through items in our collection.

The Student Cafe

The University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres Student Café is a great place to hang out and meet new people. It's also a great place to grab food if you're hungry. You can get your favourite drink, or try something new and exciting. The café also has desserts! 

Sports Facilities 

The university is represented in Canadian Interuniversity Sport by the UQTR Patriotes which has teams in swimming, golf, hockey, soccer, cheerleading, badminton, athleticism, and 

Volleyball. The campus also has a multipurpose sports centre called CAPS, which is managed by an experienced team.  The centre includes 2 triple gymnasiums, 1 indoor track (2 lanes), 1 outdoor track (6 lanes), 1 indoor swimming pool, 1 outdoor artificial turf, a Wireless Internet area & multimedia rooms

The University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres Gym offers a wide range of sports facilities and equipment for its students. It includes facilities like free weights, Cardiovascular machines area: There are 16 cardiovascular machines available in this area that are connected to an interactive computer system that monitors the heart rate during a workout session. This system allows you to set goals and track your progress. The gym also has 13 lifting platforms and all their requirements.

Provisions For Cycling

The University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres Cycling Tracks are the most popular place for bikers in the city. The tracks have a total length of 10 kilometres, with 6 km and 4 km routes available. These tracks are very well maintained and safe, making them ideal for any cyclist from beginner to expert level. There are also many other cycling paths that allow you to experience the natural beauty of Quebec's forests and rivers!

The swimming pool is located at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres The swimming pool is open to members of the public, including students who are not affiliated with the university. There are two pools: an Olympic-size pool and a smaller training pool, both heated throughout the year.

Admission

University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres Entry Requirements

The University of Quebec is renowned and preferred by many international students. This makes the admissions process very competitive and selective.
