The University of Quebec at Rimouski, also known as UQAR, is a public university with campuses in Lévis and Rimouski, Quebec, Canada. Over 50,000 diplomas have been awarded to students by UQAR since its founding in 1969. The university provides academic instruction across eastern Quebec, including the Chaudière-Appalaches, Gaspésie-Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Haute-Côte-Nord, and Manicouagan, in addition to its campuses in Lévis and Rimouski. It also maintains permanent offices in Rivière-du-Loup and Gaspé.
