Thompson Rivers University - Williams Lake Campus (also known as TRU or TRU Williams Lake) is a public teaching and research institution that grants undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees. Its name is derived from the North Thompson and South Thompson rivers, which meet in Kamloops, British Columbia. The university features a branch for online learning called Open Learning and it also collaborates with a number of foreign entities through the World Division.
