Bachelor of Fine Arts [B.F.A] (Creative Writing)

• The program leads to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing or a joint degree with another department, in which Creative Writing serves as half of the Double Major.
• This two-year studio program offers workshops in the following genres: fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, writing for children, translation, stage play, radio, television, song lyric and libretto, screenwriting, new media, and writing for graphic forms.

Academic Eligibility:

• Graduation from high school
• Minimum of 70% in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English (or their equivalents)
• At least six academic/non-academic Grade 12 courses (recommended, but not required)

• Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school: Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by the school principal, head, or counselor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
