King’s University facilities include training undergraduates in lab, field, or literary research is a major focus. The Simona Maaskant Library: In 1998, the KU library was named the Simona Maaskant Library in honor of the institution's senior librarian. Over 75,000 physical items (books and audiovisual materials) and 2,00,000 electronic materials are available at the Simona Maaskant Library. The library provides customers with access to an additional 10 million materials through the NEOS Library Consortium because it is a member of that organization. The Gerry Segger Heritage Collection is a special collections and archives division of the Simona Maaskant Library. The repository serves as a research hub for documents related to Dutch Canadians.
The Micah Centre: The Micah Centre, which focuses on transformational development, intends to give students more transformative experiences that influence their decision-making on their educational and career paths. International Studies: The Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies (India, USA), the Netherlands Study Program, China Studies, Russia Studies, Middle East Studies, Film Studies (Los Angeles), and Uganda Studies are just a few of the more than 25 off-campus study programs that KU collaborates with. International students are eligible to work on campus in a variety of positions, including in Tamil studies, the library, the facilities and grounds department, and culinary services.
Athletics: The Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference is where the KU Eagles participate. Basketball, soccer/futsal, badminton, and volleyball are all team sports. The women's basketball team earned their first bronze medal ever during the 2008-2009 season.
