About
Telfer School of Management is a business school that is a part of the University of Ottawa. Ian Telfer (MBA 1976), a university graduate who donated to the University of Ottawa, is honoured with the school's name. Only three institutions in North America, including the Telfer School of Management, have triple accreditation. It is entirely accredited by the Association of MBAs (United Kingdom), the EFMD (EQUIS), and the AACSB (United States) (Europe). As the "Faculty of Management Science," the Telfer School of Management was established in 1969, with Dean Joseph Debanné in charge. The Faculty was home to 715 students, more than 30 full-time faculty members, and about 20 part-time faculty members during this time.
Numerous undergraduate and graduate degree programmes are available through the institution. The undergraduate programmes offer alternatives for earning a Baccalaureate of Commerce in Accounting, Management Information Systems, e-Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, and Marketing (BCom). The graduate programme include the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), Master of Science in Management, Master of Science in Health Systems, and Master of Health Administration. The Joint MBA-LLB Option and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes are also offered. Additionally, the school provides multidisciplinary graduate degrees in systems science, e-business/e-commerce, and engineering management.
Ranking
The Telfer School of Management has been featured in many known publications over the world for its groundbreaking education. In the Princeton Review's 2011 edition of The Best 300 Business Schools in the World, the university's undergraduate programme was ranked fourth in Canada in Corporate Knights magazine's 2005 evaluation of business schools. For the past four years, the Telfer School of Management has also been named among the top 150 business schools by the Financial Times (2004-2008).

Facilities
