About
Oulton College was founded by Gordon Oulton with a vision of what education could be and an entire staff of 80 consisting of himself. The college's early courses were designed to meet the urgent need for certain skills in the industry, addressing the shortage head-on.
Oulton College ranks among the top colleges for its dental hygiene courses in Canada. Accreditation by the NACOR Board of Opticianry Accreditation, for its dual-licensed optician programme in Atlantic Canada—the first of its kind —currently has enrolled almost 700+ students into Oulton's programmes and will exceed 1,000 within two years' time. Oulton College offers more than 20-degree programmes, some of which are:-
- Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, and Veterinary Technician are some of the accredited programmes offered.
- The Paramedic Association of Canada has established the Primary Care Paramedic Programme, and after completing this course students are eligible to take a provincial licensing exam.
- The college's Medical Laboratory Assistant program prepares students to take the national certification exam.
To allow Oulton students to take advantage of Crandall University's Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management, the two institutions have entered into a partnership. Graduates of the Marketing & Business Development child and youth care sales business management and entrepreneurship, Human Services Counselor Sales Policing and Corrections Foundation's diploma programme are eligible for this.

Facilities
The Oulton College campuses are two in number: Flanders Court and Pacific Avenue. The Flanders Court campus is situated downtown, within walking distance of many student housing options, fitness facilities, grocery stores, and restaurants—and it's right next to the new $172 million sports stadium. The Pacific Avenue Campus, which is adjacent to the Flanders Court building, houses the Dental Education Center. The building features a 17-chair dental clinic, along with student services such as educational and resource rooms. The college also has a student council that organizes events and activities to help students relax from their classes.
Library Facilities
For online library management, Oulton College Book Store uses Librarika, a free version of the Integrated Library System (ILS). You can find archives and databases from A-Z on this site. Oulton College Entry Requirements
