On a national and worldwide level, rankings are issued based on a number of factors, such as academic achievement, employment rate, quality of education, student satisfaction, and other factors. Tech Support: In order to help students with their studies the IT Services offer a variety of technological services, including wireless internet, access to more than 200 desktop computers located throughout the campus, and software that can be downloaded and used at home. They also help students with they MyMount account and also aid with printing services across the campus.

Bookstore: Stduents can shop for MSVU-branded items all in one place on campus at the Mount Bookstore. The bookstore also sells school supplies, apparel with the MSVU logo, gift cards, drinkware, and accessories in addition to textbooks.

Art Gallery: The Seton Academic Center's first floor houses the MSVU Art Gallery. The gallery opened its doors in 1971 as a resource for MSVU, it serves, artists, people living in Metro Halifax, and the general public with a wide range of art. By devoting a sizeable portion of its activities to the portrayal of women as cultural subjects and producers, MSVU Art Gallery reflects the educational goals of the university. 

Wikuom: MSVU was the first university in Nova Scotia to include a Wikuom in its campus amenities. The Wikuom is a warm traditional Mi'kmaq area where both Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups can congregate and learn together. It was established on June 12, 2017. 

The Aboriginal Student Centre (ASC): This is where ASC staff members offer academic counseling, counseling services, and other support services to students, is located at The Mount as well. The Mid-Winter Feast at the Mount, Blanket Exercises, Cultural Workshops, Mini-Mount Camps, and other events are all hosted by the ASC.

Athletics: The Mount, home of the Mystics, participates in cross country, women's volleyball, women's and men's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and women's and men's soccer in the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association (ACAA). The Mystics are the most well-known team in the ACAA level because they have won championships in every sport. Women's volleyball won the ACAA championship for the eighth year in a row in February 2019.
