About
The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics is one of Canada's most prestigious and selective institutions. They teach students to think for themselves so that they can adapt to an ever-changing world.
The Lazaridis School was founded in 1966 as the School of Business and Economics by Dean Peter Shantz. It was renamed in 2013 after Mike Lazaridis gave $20 million to the school. There are 7,370 students enrolled in Lazaridis School programmes with 158 full-time faculty members which serve 36,930 alumni. The placement rate for Business Administration graduates is 97% and the placement rate for economics graduates is 93%.

Wilfrid Laurier University's Lazaridis School of Business and Economics offers more than 100 courses in its undergraduate programme, with 22 options among its graduate degree programmes. Laurier has more than 100,000 graduates from 85 different countries. All students must hold at least a 60% average in their previous courses/classes to be eligible for admission. The school offers its own unique double degree programme, combining one MBA with one MFin. This combined programme enables students to develop leadership skills, investment banking expertise—and a wide range of other skills as well.

The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University received recognition from Waterloo - Brigham Young University for excellence in accounting research. Peer-reviewed publications from the top 12 accounting journals worldwide form the basis of the rankings. Aside from the aforementioned recognition, the school has received numerous others. Facilities
The University of Waterloo's two largest campuses are in Waterloo and Brantford. It also has a Faculty of Social Work in Kitchener, an MBA programme in Toronto, and a weekend MBA programme in Toronto. The University of Waterloo’s campus houses more than 16,000 students from all faculties—including the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics—as well as several research centres and institutes. The Liberal Arts and Human and Social Science faculties have more than 3,000 students admitted at their Brantford campus.
Library Facilities
Waterloo: The main library is located in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics Building. This library houses the collection for all faculty members in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, as well as those from other faculties at Guelph. The collection consists of approximately 230,000 volumes (books) along with thousands of periodicals, electronic resources, and databases. There are also other two libraries at Brantford and Kitchener.
On-Campus Residence Facilities
