About
The I.H. Asper School of Business is a business school at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is named after Israel Harold Asper, a Canadian businessman, and philanthropist who donated $20 million to the University of Manitoba to establish the school in his name. There are about 18,000 students enrolled every year out of which about 17% are international students.
It offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in business, including a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Business Administration, and several specialized graduate programmes. The business school also offers Executive programmes, an Indigenous Business Education Partners International Exchange programme and Co-operative Education programme.
The core curriculum requires all business students to study the same courses, while each major requires four additional courses. To avoid taking additional classes, a double major can be achieved by each student by choosing five business electives from any area. These are the majors that are currently available:

The Commerce Students' Association is a student organisation at the I.H. Asper School of Business (CSA). The Asper School of Business and Commerce Students' Association, which represents all students enrolled in the Asper School of Business, joins forces with 14 other major- or graduate-specific student-run groups. Students from different faculties on the University of Manitoba campus are welcome to join some of these organisations. With 64 active members, including 8 executive members and 56 internal members, the CSA is administered by students.

Whether you're a first-time applicant to Odette School Of Business, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants.
