Fraser International College is a private institute and runs under the parent organization, Simon Fraser University. Programs of FIC include foundation courses that prepare international students to begin their higher study at Simon Fraser University. International students can complete their first year at FIC through the university transfer programs(UTP Stage II) which is equivalent to a first-year university program and enter directly into the 2nd year of a degree at Simon Fraser University. FIC enrols international students in three intakes: January, May and September.

Applicants can apply using the online application portal along with paying a processing fee of 250 CAD. Students after receiving the acceptance offer need to pay a deposit fee as well. Senior secondary school with a min of 65% overall average along with a minimum of 70% score in mathematics is essential to get admission at FIC. The average tuition fee is around 6,300 CAD to 31,266 CAD. One needs to carry an estimated amount of 129 - 3,170 CAD for the cost of living.
