Cyberattacks have become more sophisticated, profitable, and easier to launch in recent years bringing risk to nearly every individual and organization that access the Internet. Organizations of all sizes must develop response strategies, combining business and technical knowledge, in order to mitigate this new area of risk. This two-term Ontario College Graduate Certificate will teach you technical and risk management skills that enable organizations to assess, develop, and enhance both preventative and responsive approaches to mitigating cyber-attacks. You will be taught how to take on mission critical roles guiding organizations to prevent and effectively respond to the latest range of online threats. This program builds on the problem solving and fundamental technology skills you have developed in previous post-graduate computing and/or information technology studies, with a strong emphasis on both business and operational technical skills.
