About
Cégep Marie-Victorin is a public college in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is situated in the Montréal-Nord neighborhood at 7000 rue Marie-Victorin. “Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel” or “Cégep”, is an abbreviation that commonly translates to "vocational college" in English. It was founded in 1969 and currently provides its students and staff with a remarkable and distinctive atmosphere. The college is situated in a natural area with lots of open spaces, and the pavilions are turned away from the city streets to face inward. Modern technology and equipment have been included in numerous classrooms and laboratories, and various common areas have been renovated. These renovations have improved the area and are evidence of the creative influence that distinguishes Cégep as a school that also strives to be a hub for creativity, intellectual stimulation, and innovation. It is lovely, contemporary, peaceful, and secure. Last but not least, its pavilion design, fit for university campuses, enables the gathering of teachers and students from the same program in one location, strengthening a sense of community and encouraging interactions between teachers and students.
