About
William and Catherine Booth University College is dedicated to excellence in Christian higher education, rooted firmly in The Salvation Army's Wesleyan theological tradition. The University College educates students to understand the complexities of our world at large, and develop the knowledge and skills necessary for active participation in society.
Catherine Booth Bible College was founded in 1981 as an institution dedicated to the study and training of biblical leadership.Since 2006, the Booth School of Business has seen significant changes. New programmes have been developed and existing ones redesigned, while enrolment has soared. Booth University College officially changed its name in June 2010, when the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba passed legislation giving it university college status
Booth University offers rigorous certificate, diploma, bachelor's, and master's degree programmes taught to the highest standards. A total of 282 students are admitted each year into its class sizes averaging 20-25 students. The university college houses 4 schools/departments within itself:

Facilities
The university campus in Winnipeg is a friendly and inviting seven-story building that also houses students. It located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, combines historical and modern architecture. The main campus building is also known as the 'Waldron Building,' after John and Helen Waldron. The low-rise heritage structure also houses the School of Business and the School of Continuing Studies. The site provides lodging options as well as a well-equipped library.
Library Facilities
John Fairbank Memorial Library of Booth University College houses a collection of 55,000 books, journals, videos, and audio cassettes. The library's strengths include social work, theology & pastoral care. Moreover, the library subscribes to approximately 150 journals and periodicals. They also have electronic versions of over 240 journals available – both on CD-ROM and through our Internet subscriptions. The library has a small collection of rare books and manuscripts that are available for use by the faculty, staff, and students.
Housing Facilities
Booth University College offers students the option of living on or off campus, but it is highly recommended that they live on campus to get the most out of their college experience. The cost of this weekly meal plan is 730 CAD per month. Each resident lives in a room on the upper levels of the main campus building. Each room contains twin beds, desks, and shelves for books, etc. There is also a shared bathroom on each floor. The university provides linens, towels and toiletries, so residents do not have to bring these items with them.
Dining Facilities
The Bistro at the university has a great selection of mouthwatering food, including sandwiches and pizzas made with freshly baked loaves of bread. You can tell the cafeteria staff about your food allergies, vegetarianism, veganism, or gluten intolerance. It also has a range of prices so you can find something that fits your budget. Booth Bistro is open Monday to Friday from 10 AM. to 5 PM.

Booth University College Entry Requirements
Whether you're a first-time applicant to Booth University College, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants. All international students will have to make an application fee payment of 150 CAD. Each applicant must provide the following:
