To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
 

• An Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification or
• An Australian bachelor's degree in a non-Engineering discipline with a 65 percent average, with studies equivalent to 48 credit points (equivalent to 1 year full time study load) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, computing or statistics, as related to the stream sought for admission.

For International Students: AUD$ 50,500 per year

Career paths for structural engineering graduates include working in the design of major structures including bridges, high-rise buildings, industrial buildings, stadiums, and sporting and exhibition centres. Many structural engineers find employment in specialist consulting structural engineering firms.
