About

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ), founded in 1967, is a prestigious higher learning institution and research in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. The Queensland Institute of Technology, which opened its doors to 140 students, served as the foundation for the university. It was renamed the University College of Southern Queensland in 1990 with the assistance of the University of Queensland. In 1992, USQ received university status under its current name.

 

Over 700 specialized professional degree programmes are available at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels at the university. The university is divided into two faculties, each with six schools that offer programmes in business, management, education, law, arts, commerce, sciences, communication, humanities, health and nursing, engineering, and creative arts. USQ has a separate college for indigenous education and research for Torres Strait Islanders and Aboriginal people.

 

The university's Open Access College offers a number of special programmes that will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for academic success. Along with two satellite campuses in Ipswich and Springfield, USQ has its main campus in Toowoomba. Admission

The University Of Southern Queensland Entry Requirements

 

Admissions are available at the university in three semesters: February, July, and November.
