The Graduate Certificate in Marketing focuses on developing marketing management and planning skills. With a strategically based focus on business marketing capabilities, this program will provide you with the know-how to efficiently and effectively communicate with consumers by understanding their behaviour and decision making process.

You have the flexibility to choose one course from a list of directed courses in areas such as digital marketing, brand development and integrated marketing communications depending on your area of interest. You will graduate with a comprehensive understanding of the marketing process and have the ability to plan and implement successful marketing campaigns.

Admission Requirements

Entry into the Graduate Certificate in Marketing (40 units) will be available for applicants who have:
 

• 3 year Bachelors Degree not in a related field; or
• 3 year Diploma in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, communication, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, or marketing; or
• 3 year Diploma not in a related field + 1 year relevant organisational experience; or
• 2 year Diploma in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, communication, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, or marketing; + 2 years relevant organisational experience; or
• 2 year Diploma not in a related field + 3 years relevant organisational experience; or
• At least 5 years relevant organisational experience.

Students will be required to successfully complete a Business Academic Skills Program (BASP) which will be of 6 weeks duration. The BASP will be non-fee based and can be completed concurrently with courses in the Graduate Certificate.

Only after the successful completion of the Graduate Certificate and the academic skills program will students be eligible to formally enrol in the Masters Program. They will, however, receive 40 units credit by virtue of the studies they will have already completed. Therefore they will be required to do an additional 80 units to complete their Masters Degree.

Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements
 

• All Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the University’s English proficiency requirement. 
• Applicants for this program must satisfy a minimum English Language Proficiency Standard equivalent to an IELTS overall minimum of 6.5 with no subtest result below 6.0.

Fees

AUD 20,730 (indicative annual fee)
Indicative annual fees are based on a full year full time load (80 units).
