Program Structure

Students must complete 24 UOC when taken as a standalone program.

Core Courses

12 Units of Credit:

Students must take 12 UOC of the following courses.

• Quantitative Methods for Business

• Business Economics

Prescribed Electives

12 Units of Credit:

Students must take at least 12 UOC of the following courses or any other postgraduate course in Economics.

• Microeconomics

• Macroeconomics

• Econometrics

• any Postgraduate Economics course

A recognised bachelor‚ degree from an Australian university or equivalent overseas institution.

Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Economics (7412) with a minimum WAM of 65% can apply to articulate into the Master of Applied Economics program and will receive 24 UOC of Advanced Standing.
