The degree offers a combination of coursework, research and industry placements to ensure students graduate with the skills and knowledge required to establish effective procedures and structures in organisations, and to facilitate the development of productive and committed employees, teams and work units. Graduates of the degree are eligible to apply for full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and meet the entry requirements to the Australian Psychological Society (APS) College of Organisational Psychologists as a full member. Organisational psychologists have a range of career opportunities in change management, human resources, human factors, workplace advice and advocacy, consumer behaviour and marketing, and other areas.
